Yage (D)
The bandname 'yage' is based on a book by William S. Burroughs with the name 'The Yage Letters'. It deals with the authentic search of the author for the drug 'yage' in latin-america in the 50ies. We thought that this search and all the experiences with the drug 'yage' which are described in the book could be a good metaphor for everything we search and can find in music and especially in our 'yage'. This is how we came to the name. Yage is our drug we canīt get enough from!
